Aha-Soft Releases ArtCursors 3.0

ArtCursors v3.0 is a powerful solution designed to meet the needs of both graphics professional and casual artists. The new version offers customizable interface and contains multiple enhancements over the previous versions.

Designed specifically for effective cursor creation and management, ArtCursors v3.0 offers production features that cannot be found in standard graphics applications. For one, busy artists can import images for their cursors directly from image and library files, icon files and even executables. This makes it ever so easy to create new cursors from existing material without designing them from scratch. The new cursors can have standard Windows sizes or any custom size (up to 255x255) and color depths of up to 16 Million Colors (True Color).
ArtCursors comes with all the essential tools that let you edit and tweak the cursors to perfection. Painting tools include spray can, pencil, brush, flood fill, text and line tools. Modifiers can also be used to apply color gradients, chess fills and more. ArtCursors also supports the import and export of multiple file types, including CUR, ICO, BMP, PSD (Adobe Photoshop format), JPG, GIF, XBM, XPM, WBMP, RC, ANI, WMF and PNG. The ability to export animated cursors to animated GIF files and image strings is supported.
ArtCursors functionality is not limited to creating and editing cursors, it can also be used as a powerful cursor management tool. It lets you create cursor libraries for better and more efficient cursor storage. You can add new cursors to libraries manually or in the batch mode by scanning drives and directories in your system. Other cursor library management features include the ability to move cursors between libraries by copying and pasting them, automatic removal of duplicate cursors, ability to add cursors to the library by dragging them from other applications or via clipboard, ability to export individual cursors or the entire library and more.
The new version of the application features the support for Windows 2000/XP smooth cursors with 32-bit color depth and 8-bit alpha-channel, new visual effects and tools including Drop Shadow, Smooth, Opacity, Negative and Colorize, support for Actual Transparency, RGB Lock and Transparency Lock modes and more.
